when choosing values, i tend to gravitate towards powers of two

all of the margins and padding and outlines on this site are powers of two, with a few exceptions

its comforting in a way - gives some direction to something that i otherwise have little understanding of

but of course, i gotta deviate sometimes. and that's okay
